遊樂器鏡像而成的變異形體,繞行於失重漂浮的場域中,猶如孩童搭乘時,所開啟一段想像的旅程。一段既真實又虛幻的歷程,身體存在於真實空間裡,而個人內在想像卻通往幻想境界,就像是存在於幻想中的虛擬實境。透由空間中物件的觸發,擷取真實空間的局部片段,引領自身的意念,駛離原有的空間,前往一處,暫時屬於自我幻想而又自由與孤獨並存的虛幻境地。

 

空間中為一個擬仿數位格式存在的螢光裝置物件《街樂園-超維度運行 體》。透過數位符碼回返實體的空間,將原存於平面數位影像的暫存輪廓,藉由個人的想像填補形成一個 「虛實圖像融合的標本」。歷經一連串置換的過程,從原有實體遊樂器虛擬影像化,最終再將數位的暫存符號回返實體的雕塑。透過真實、數位介質的形體輪廓置換,交織出切換於真實與虛幻的迴圈。透過虛實相異的圖層與場景的疊合,完成了一段透過數位生成造型演繹的循環,試圖建構物體存於數位和真實間本質樣貌的想像。

The mirroring image of an arcade machine is transformed into an object lost afloat in a weightless space. This implies the imaginary journey of a child during the gaming experience. The journey is between reality and virtuality. The body exists in a real space; nevertheless, the mental imagination opens a portal to the fantasy world. This is like a virtual reality within our imagination. Through objects in the space, fragments of the real world trigger the mind to take off from the existing space and travel to a dreamland where imagination is both free and lonesome.     

Here in the space, the  neon installation “Street Paradise- Hyperdimensional Functions of Objects” serves as a simulation of the digital world.  By bringing the digital codes into a physical space, the temporary silhouette of a digital graphic image is made into “a sample for the integration of reality and virtuality.” With a series of replacements, the virtuality of the arcade had been turned into images. In the end, the temporary digital symbols were transformed  into an actual sculpture. Through shifting the silhouette of digital medium into physical medium, a loop in between the actual and the virtual is created. Through the superimposition of scenes and layers within the virtual and the actual, the digitally generated model displays a cycle constructed of the digital and physical essence of an object.
